XCP, CCP and UDS on ECU calibration buses
Log the engine ECU calibration bus alongside vehicle CAN, CAN FD and LIN body networks on one device. Native UDS (ISO 14229) diagnostics, CCP and XCP on CAN on the same trace.
Multi-bus data acquisition for powertrain calibration, durability and road load testing. Built around REBEL CT CAN FD, a rugged IP65 logger that records two CAN 2.0, two CAN FD and two LIN buses on one synchronised timeline, with native support for XCP, CCP, UDS and J1939 protocols. Paired with K-TC thermocouples for engine bay, exhaust and brake temperature measurement.
Recommended product
When the test vehicle moves between programmes and the engineer needs the full network on one device, REBEL CT is the logger. Two CAN 2.0, two CAN FD and two LIN buses on a single synchronised timeline, native support for XCP, CCP and UDS protocols, and a CAN 2.0 gateway that keeps bridging whilst it logs, all in a rugged IP65 aluminium enclosure that travels with the engineer rather than the chassis.
Classic CAN, CAN FD in ISO and non-ISO standard frames and LIN on one device, every frame stamped to one clock. Log the full vehicle network without bridging or stitching data after the fact.
XCP on CAN, CCP and UDS (ISO 14229) natively, plus OBD and SAE J1939. Designed for ECU calibration, characterisation and end-of-line validation workflows.
The compact logger moves between vehicles in the same programme. Configuration travels with the engineer, not the chassis. 4.5V to 36V input handles both 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems.
4 analogue inputs and 3 digital I/O built in for additional signals. Add K-TC thermocouple modules for engine bay, exhaust and brake temperature measurement during durability and validation programmes.
The challenge
Vehicle development teams capture data across vehicle networks that grow more complex every generation. Logger choice has to keep pace.
Modern vehicles run classic CAN, CAN FD and LIN on the same chassis, with K-Line still present on diagnostic ports. Single-bus loggers force engineers to run multiple devices and stitch the data after the fact.
Test sessions on the proving ground are tightly scheduled. Loggers that need extensive on-vehicle configuration eat into actual test time. Pre-configured triggers and a logger that moves with the engineer protect the test window.
XCP, CCP and UDS traces need timestamp-accurate logging that can run alongside CAN traffic without dropping frames. ECU characterisation work cannot tolerate dropped messages or skewed timestamps.
Applications
From engine bench testing to road load data acquisition and durability validation, each phase of vehicle development has a different signal capture profile.
Recommended hardware
REBEL CT is the recommended starting point for multi-bus vehicle work. Add REXGEN 2 where a compact fixed install or IMU motion and GNSS position data is required. K-TC handles engine bay, exhaust and brake thermal measurement. REXGEN Air complements both for long-duration road load and durability capture with cloud upload.
Two CAN 2.0, two CAN FD and two LIN buses on one synchronised timeline. Native XCP on CAN, CCP, UDS (ISO 14229), OBD and SAE J1939. 4 analogue inputs and 3 digital I/O, CAN 2.0 gateway whilst logging. IP65 aluminium enclosure, 4.5V to 36V input for 12V and 24V vehicle systems.

What engineers say
The K-TC units engineered by Influx Technology produce accurate and reliable results at a very competitive price. They are easily programmed and calibrated to work seamlessly with their range of REBEL loggers and even offer the added bonus of standalone data acquisition.
Having the same capabilities as the REBEL CT loggers means it can be used for some quite advanced functions, such as a gateway for UDS/CCP signals, re-transmitting these over a standard broadcast CAN connection to driver displays or other third-party CAN acquisition that does not support the communication protocols required.
Software ecosystem
REBEL CT ships with DIALOG for XCP, CCP and CAN trace analysis. REXGEN 2 ships with REXDESK for CAN FD configuration and analysis. K-TC pairs with K-CAL for thermocouple calibration with a live oscilloscope view. Every Influx Technology data logger and instrumentation module ships with free companion software. No licence fees, no per-seat charges, no annual renewals.

Frequently asked questions
No. The FlexRay version of REBEL CT is discontinued. The current REBEL CT CAN FD records two CAN 2.0, two CAN FD and two LIN buses on one synchronised timeline. If your programme carries a FlexRay requirement, contact our applications engineers to discuss the network architecture.
Yes. REBEL CT supports XCP on CAN, CCP and UDS (ISO 14229) natively. DIALOG is the recommended companion software for XCP and CCP configuration, A2L file import and trace analysis during ECU characterisation work.
REBEL CT logs four CAN buses simultaneously, two CAN 2.0 and two CAN FD, plus two LIN channels. Every channel logs to the same time base with no bridging required, so a fault on one bus lines up with the traffic around it on every other.
Yes. REBEL CT CAN FD logs two CAN FD buses in ISO and non-ISO standard frames alongside two CAN 2.0 buses, so the higher payload buses on electrified platforms (BMS, motor controller or chassis networks) land in the same file as the classic CAN and LIN traffic.
No. In the current range J2534 pass-through is provided by REXGEN 1 and REXGEN 2. REBEL CT covers OBD and UDS to ISO 14229, CCP and XCP on CAN, and runs a CAN 2.0 gateway whilst logging, which covers the diagnostic and calibration protocol stack for end-of-line and validation test benches.
The K-TC module is a CAN-output thermocouple system for high-temperature monitoring during vehicle testing. Up to 32 thermocouple channels with ±1°C accuracy, supporting K, J and T thermocouple types. CAN bus isolation rated to 780V. K-TC outputs CAN messages that REBEL CT or REXGEN 2 record alongside vehicle CAN, CAN FD and LIN traffic on the same time base.
