Legacy REBEL cables: INF4100, INF4202 and the CT FlexRay port
Find the pinouts of discontinued REBEL hardware: the REBEL 100 start-up kit harness, the INF4202 breakout cable and the expansion port of the REBEL CT FlexRay variant. They are kept for owners of existing units. The REBEL 100 and the REBEL CT FlexRay are both discontinued, and no current Influx Technology product supports FlexRay.
Before you use this page
This guide covers hardware that is no longer sold. For current REBEL loggers, see these guides.
- REBEL LT: connector pinouts
- REBEL CT: connector pinouts
- REBEL breakout cables: INF4203 and INF4204.1 multi-connect pinouts
The current REBEL CT is the CAN FD variant. It has 2 CAN 2.0 buses, 2 CAN FD buses and 2 LIN channels, and no expansion port.
The tables come from earlier documentation, which has gaps and some conflicts. The conflicts are noted beside the tables. Check a cable with a meter before you rely on a pin. For help with a legacy unit, contact technical support.
INF4100 REBEL 100 start-up kit harness
The REBEL 100 was built for long-term event monitoring on production machinery, so it used an ECU-style automotive connector. This harness broke that connector out to standard 9-way D-Subs for engineering development. It did the same job as the REBEL CT multi-connect cable.

INF4202 expansion port breakout cable
INF4202 connects to the expansion port of the discontinued REBEL CT FlexRay and REBEL CT 7 loggers. It breaks the port out to separate 9-way D-Subs for two FlexRay channels, three CAN buses and one LIN bus. The LIN bus shares a lead with CAN 4.

REBEL CT FlexRay expansion port
On the discontinued REBEL CT FlexRay and REBEL CT 7 loggers, the expansion port is labelled FlexRay/LIN and CAN Ext. It is a male 15-way micro-D connector, 1.27 mm pitch, with nuts. It carries CAN 4 to CAN 6, one LIN bus, two FlexRay channels and the supply. Its pin assignment matches the INF4202 expansion port connector above.
Pins not listed in these tables are not connected.
